Overview

Using the Blocked IPs feature, you can prevent users originating from specific IP addresses from scanning your QR codes or clicking on your links. There are many reasons why you may want to block specific users from scanning your QR codes or clicking your links, but reasons may include unhappy customers or competitors trying to run up your engagement numbers. By using the blocked IPs feature, any scans or clicks from the IP addresses you block will be rejected by the system and won't register in any of the dashboards - these events will not consume resources included with your plan.

Any scans or clicks from a blocked IP are not recoverable.


Where to Block IPs

There are multiple places in the application where you can block IPs with the first being the Blocked IPs screen.

You can also find the Block IP Address option on the QR Codes & Links Dashboard grid, in the ellipse menu at the right end of each row.
